Supply Chain Planner (Dublin | Pharmaceutical)
Main Duties:
• Supplier relationship management – Develop and maintain good working relationships with key suppliers • Ownership of the Supply planning process, including Purchase Orders, Net Requirements Process (Forecasting) and S&OP process • Drive continuous improvement o Net Requirements o Supply Process o Communication o S&OP • Pro-active, clear & reliable communication to Suppliers & Key Stakeholders • Strong team support • Support New Product Introduction
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the Net requirements process with Suppliers • Full analysis of all demand fluctuations, incorporated as part of the S&OP process • Communicate key fluctuations to Suppliers • Communicate potential supply gaps based on net requirements volume • Pro-active management of all open orders • Ensure reliable order confirmation – “Right First Time” • Resolve/escalate issues • Pro-active communication on Order delays • Establish strong collaborative relationship with the Suppliers • Ensure corrective actions are implemented. • Understand & communicate needs & priorities • Understand & communicate Supplier capabilities & constraints • Communication of priorities, order confirmations and demand changes to both internal & external customers Requirements:
• 3-4 years relevant supply chain/manufacturing experience in pharma or a related industry • Language (European) is a distinct advantage • Qualification in a Business Related discipline or Supply Chain an advantage but not essential. • Previous SAP experience a distinct advantage
